Watching the classic movie the pianist over the weekend was quiet something.  The scenes depicted in the movie on how the German soldiers rounded up the Jewish workers onto the Warsaw camps were chilling. The main character had quiet an escape from death as he played an old piano to a German general who was hugely impressed by his talent. The piano tuning of the instrument was spot on and the notes he played and the emotion portrayed as he struck the chords make one realize why the general had to spare him. Truly Wladyslaw Szpilman was one of the greatest pianists the world has ever known, but not as good a piano tuner as San Francisco piano tuning companies.
